Weaning

Babies

The babe in an environment of the fresh vegetables, isolated on the whiteBabies grow more rapidly in their first year than at any other time.

We understand the importance of making sure they get the right amount of what they need to keep them healthy and happy and once your baby is ready we are on hand to offer advice and support.

The optimal time of weaning is based on a number of considerations, including the baby's age, gestation at birth, health, development and growth rate. Weaning should start by six months but not before four months in healthy full term babies. This is the age at which milk feeds alone become insufficient to provide all the nutrients and calories babies need to grow and develop normally.

You can be assured that we will work with you to ensure that we follow what you are doing at home.  Our specialist staff always ensure that the type, consistency and portion size is just right for your baby.
