Your child’s safety is of the utmost importance to us, both inside and outside the Nursery, which is why we have created a secure and safe environment for our Outdoor Play Area. This consists of three distinctive areas:

• Sensory Garden (surrounding the conservatory) this has been developed to enhance all the children’s sensory developments from sounds on the musical boards to touch on the textured pathways, primarily this area is for the Under 2’s but all ages can use it.
• Upper Area - This area is covered by soft play safety surfacing. The road track with café and petrol pump provides role play opportunities for the children. The area also houses our Outdoor Classroom which doubles as a stage area for performances. Mark making is also readily available in this area on the chalkboard.
• The Lawned Area sports out mini sports court which can be used for football, netball or basketball. It also houses our adventure trail to help the children with their physical development and a Wendy House for Role Play.
• In addition to this equipment a range of bikes, prams and sports equipment are available. All the areas are totally enclosed and surrounded by secure fencing to ensure your child is protected at all times.
