Anne Horford
Operations Manager & Early Years Professional (EYP)
Anne has been at Care 4 Kids since it opened its doors in 2002. She started as the Deputy Manager and has worked her way up to Operations Manager. Anne is our EYP and regularly attends meetings to ensure nursery is up to date with all the most recent legislation and procedures.
Sarah Hall
Nursery Manager NVQ Level 5
Sarah is qualified to Level 5 standard, she has been in a managerial role since 2006. She is currently studying for a BA in Education & Society. Sarah alongside Anne is one of our nursery SEN co-ordinators.
Vicky Barnes
Deputy Manager/Head of Pre-School - NVQ Level 5
Vicky has been at Care 4 Kids since 2008 and she has just completed her 2nd year of her degree studies in Childcare & Inclusion. Vicky oversees the running of our large Pre-School units making sure the children have access to all areas of learning. Vicky is our named First Aider for the Pre-School unit.
Danielle Hegarty
Head of Baby Unit NVQ Level 4
Danielle (Known as Elle) has been at Care 4 Kids since 2008 and completed our In house Management Trainee Scheme in 2011. We continue to support her training to Level 4 standard and Elle has recently gained promotion to Head of our Baby Unit
Carly Hobdell
Head of Out of School Club NVQ Level 3
Carley has been with Care 4 Kids since 2006 and during this time has completed her childcare training and progressed into a senior role. Carley is currently undergoing her Level 4 training in childcare, she is responsible for making sure all children are collected from school safely each day and planning a fun filled timetable for the school holidays.
Andrea Purdie
Management Trainee NVQ Level 3
Andrea has been at Care 4 Kids since 2008 and is a qualified Nursery Nurse who is based in our Tweenies. Andrea plays Netball and teaches this to our older children in our mini sports court. Andrea has recently been offered a place on our annual Management Trainee program to progress her career with us.
Babies
Danielle Hegarty
Head of Baby Unit NVQ Level 4
Danielle (Known as Elle) has been at Care 4 Kids since 2008 and entered onto our Management Trainee Scheme in 2010. We have supporting her training to Level 4 and Elle gained promotion to Head of our Baby Unit.
Leanne Jones
Nursery Nurse NVQ Level 3
Leanne has been at nursery since 2010. She is fantastic at Baking and regularly holds little baking classes with the children.
Kirk Jackson
Nursery Nurse NVQ Level 2
Kirk joned Care 4 Kids in September 2010. He is currently studying at college to become a qualified member of staff. Kirk is excellent at doing artwork displays with the children and can regularly be seen painting, drawing and sticking with them. Kirk is now to commence his Level 3 training.
Samantha Threlfall
Modern Apprentice NVQ Level 2
Sam has been at Care 4 Kids since she was 14 years old when she started doing a long term school placement with us. As soon as Sam left school we took her on as a Modern Apprentice. Sam is mainly based in the Baby Units but moves around the nursery to gain valuable experience with all ages.
Maxine Boyle
Nursery Nurse NNEB
Maxine is another long serving member of staff; she has been at Care 4 Kids since 2003. Maxine is one of our Student mentors as she has 15 years childcare experience under her belt.
Katie Knight
Nursery Nurse NVQ Level 5
Katie has been a Nursery Nurse for 5yrs and has gained a lot of experience within that time especially with the under 2 age group. Katie is our listening specialist for the younger ages working with staff to improve on children’s listening and understanding. Katie has just completed her 2nd year of her degree studies in Childcare & Inclusion.
Justine Lowe
Nursery Nurse NVQ Level 2
Justine has a lot of experience working in schools and supporting children's learning, we are hoping to use this skills within our nursery. Justine will be working in all the nursery rooms and will start her Level 3 qualification in September.
Tweenies
Andrea Purdie

Gemma Hartley
Nursery Nurse NVQ Level 3
Gemma started at Care 4 Kids as a parent as she brought her 2 young boys to us whilst she attended college doing a childcare placement. She is a valued member of staff who gives 110% to her role. Gemma has recently started a Foundation Degree in Young Children's Learning & Development.
Kira Gregson
Nursery Nurse NVQ Level 2
Kira started working at Care 4 Kids in 2010. Kira has a hearing impairment, she can communicate with children, staff and parents as she wears hearing aids which enable her to hear sounds and she is able to lip read very well. Kira helps our older children and parents understand what hearing impairments are and shows them basic sign language to use.
Janet Gairns
Nursery Nurse NVQ Level 3
Janet has been at Care 4 Kids since 2003 and has recently returned from maternity leave after becoming a mum for the second time. Janet is a qualified and experienced member of the staff and works in our Tweenies Room.
Danielle George
Nursery Nurse NVQ Level 3
Danielle is one of our EYFS specialists alongside Vicky. She gives training to new members of staff and makes sure all key workers are confident when completing Learning Journals. Danielle has been at Care 4 Kids since 2009.
Pre-School
Vicky Barnes

Zara Fitzgerald

Zara is a mother to 2 young boys and brings a real homely motherly touch to our Pre-School Room. Zara has been at Care 4 Kids since 2006 and in that time has progressed from being Level 2 qualified to being Level 3.
Amy Alberts
Nursery Nurse NVQ Level 3
Amy has recently returned from Maternity Leave after having a beautiful baby girl. Amy works part time at the Nursery so covers all rooms helping out where needed. Amy has continued her studies to complete a BA honors in Education & Inclusion.
Sadie Taylor
Modern Apprentice NVQ Level 2.
After completing a recent college placement with us Sadie became our Second Modern Apprentice. Sadie is mainly based within our Pre-School Rooms but does move around the other rooms to gain experience. Sadie has recently commenced onto her Level 3.
Laura Kelly
Nursery Nurse NVQ Level 2
Laura has been with the nursery for a long time. She originally completed her college placement with us, after which she began working in our Out Of School Club. Since returning from maternity leave Laura is based in the Pre-School Rooms.

Jaklyn Southworth
Nursery Assistant (Working towards Level 3)
Jaklyn is one of our newest member of staff. She works in our Out of School Club. She is our Sports and Recreational Professional andhelps staff plan outdoor & sports activities.
Zara Fitzgerald
Nursery Nurse NVQ Level 3

Umaira Khan
Out of School Assistant NVQ Level 3
Although Umaira is fairly new to our Staff Team she has been known to the nursery for a while as she completed her college training placements with us. Umaira is level 3 qualified and is our multi lingual speaking member of staff being able to speak 4 languages. Umaira also enjoys textiles and sewing helping the children create wonderful work.

Pat Sutton
Head Nursery Administrator
Pat has been at nursery since it opened in 2002. She takes care of all the nurseries financial issues from paying bills to collecting fees.
Lisa Clayton
PA to the Directors / Head Childcare Vouchers Administrator
Lisa has been with Care 4 Kids since February 2009 and heads up the administration for our Childcare Vouchers Scheme "Vouchers 4 Kids". In addition Lisa assists our Operations, Nursery and Admin Managers with administrative tasks and is also a valued Personal Assistant to the Directors.
Graham Sutton
Head of Maintenance
Graham has been at Nursery since it opened in 2002. Graham takes care of any maintenance around the building making sure that Health & Safety Standards are kept at a constant high standard.
Annette Rennie
IT & Marketing Developer
Annette is a new addition to the team. Her main responsibilities will be continually monitoring and updating the company websites and liasing with managers to ensure all information is relevant and up to date. She will also be developing and driving Social Media for Care 4 Kids and sister company Vouchers 4 Kids.
David Hartley & Ian Chapman
Nursery Driver / Maintenance
Dave has been with Care 4 Kids since 2007 & Ian since 2011 and are primarily our nursery minibus drivers. They transport all the Out of School children to and from school and are also on hand for any Nursery trips. They also assist Graham with the ongoing day to day maintenance when required.
Jay Trobe
Nursery Chef - NVQ Level 2 (Catering & Hospitality)
Jay is our resident Chef and cooks all meals fresh each day. Jay helps design the Healthy Menus in line with our Smile for Life Award and the Nutrician Programme on which we have recently enrolled. Jay is also the mother to son Oly
Katie Hartley
Kitchen Assistant
Katie has recently started at Care 4 Kids to assist Jay in the kitchen. Katie has completed her studies at college gaining a NVQ level 2 in Professional Skills within the Food Industry.
